The Editorial Board of the Journal of Beckett Studies has published a call for papers for a forthcoming special issue. Titled ‘The Colours of Entropy in Beckett’s Work’, the number will be guest edited by Swati Joshi, David Pattie, and Mark Byron. Exploring the concept of entropy in the oeuvre, contributions should address ‘Beckett’s lifelong curiosity regarding the principles of physics’ which ‘shape the existential, economic, sexual, clinical, emotional, and above all, artistic entropy in his poems, short stories, novels, and plays’.
